Dean Bowditch has a chance to impress boss Joe Royle as he is poised to make his first start for Ipswich Town tonight.
The 17-year-old striker will hope to repeat the performance he put up in the Carling Cup first round against Kidderminster as Town take on Notts County at Meadow Lane in the second round (7.45pm kick-off).
Bowditch caused Kidderminster numerous problems when he came on as a second-half substitute scoring the only goal of the game in extra-time.
And Bowditch will have a chance to add to his tally tonight as he gets his opportunity at the expense of injured front man Darren Bent.
Bent, who has scored two goals in the last two League games, misses out after sustaining knee ligament damage in Saturday's 4-1 win against Wimbledon.
He said: "I took a shot on Saturday and my knee just locked. I'll put some ice on it and hopefully I should be fit for the weekend."
